Membership
Membership shall be in the following categories:
Fellowship (F)
Full Membership (M)
Student Membership (SM)
Affiliate Membership (AFM)
Institutional Membership (IM)
Corporate Members (CM)
Membership Categories
FELLOWSHIP (F)
- Distinguished themselves in the promotion or advancement of LPG/Gas in Nigeria
- Possess voting rights and other rights determined by the Association
- Honorary Fellowship available for non-members who have contributed to the advancement of Gas in Nigeria
FULL MEMBERSHIP (M)
- Open to DPR licensed LPG distribution industry, licensed LPG distribution companies, Gas transmission companies, Gas equipment manufacturers, Gas fabricators, service providers, and scholars within the LPG/Gas distribution sector
- Possess voting rights and other rights determined by the Association
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP (SM)
- Open to students undergoing courses of studies in areas of Gas or storage Technology
- The level of the course should not be below a National Diploma certificate (ND)
AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP (AFM)
- Members under this category are not full members but members of similar Association or Organization that have gained an accepted recognized association with GASAAON
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP (IM)
- Open to Institutions or Organizations
- Such Institutions or Organizations could be represented in the Association’s activities by not more than five persons
- An Institutional member has only one voting right
CORPORATE MEMBERS (CM)
- Membership category for corporate organizations and related bodies which are known to be in the vanguard for Gas/LPG promotion or engage in Gas/LPG related activities
GAS ADVOCATES (GA)
- Membership category for those that have sponsored, advocated, or shown great interest in the areas of Gas/LP
